Meet Barry B. Bannon™

Spokesbear. Senior Fluff Executive. Professional Chaos Coordinator.

Hello, Peanut Gallery!

Barry B. Bannon™ here.

Yes. THAT Barry.

If you've found us through Facebook, TikTok, our website, or by visiting the shop, you've probably seen me. I'm kind of hard to miss.

How Did I Become the Spokesbear?

Boss Lady rescued me, brought me into the family, and eventually realized I had a BIG personality.

I started appearing around the shop, in photos, and in Boss Lady's social media adventures. People started recognizing me, asking about me, and following along.

And somewhere along the way, I went from the bear in the shop to the official spokesbear of Generations of Furniture.

Honestly, I handled the promotion very professionally.

There may have been a tie involved.

BUT Let's Get One Thing Straight.

I AM THE OG.

The Original Fluff.

Boss Lady has rescued plenty of stuffed friends since me, including my coworkers Miss Maybelle Abearnathy, Tiny, Tedward Shimmersby, Kodiak, and Nimbus Thundercloud.

They're great.

But they only make occasional appearances.

I'm the OG.

I have seniority.

And a wardrobe.

And a Peanut M&M compensation package.

Speaking of Peanut M&Ms…

Yellow ones are superior.

This is not an opinion.

It is science.

And before anyone starts making accusations:

THIS IS NOT BRIBERY.

It's employee compensation.

Very different thing.

The Barry Buddy Club

I have friends all around the world, and one of my favorite jobs is helping stuffed friends find their people.

The Barry Buddy Club is for stuffed friends of every species. Bears, bunnies, dogs, cats, elephants, monkeys, and whatever wonderfully weird friend needs a new home. These are stuffies that were brought in from estates or donated.

Kids can choose a buddy for free to take home and love.

Because everyone deserves a friend.

Meet the Humans

Mr. B, Ryan. Technically, he's the boss. I originally called him Big Boss, because, well, he was the boss.

Then one day I called him Mr. B instead.

It stuck.

Now everyone calls him Mr. B.

He handles pickups, deliveries, heavy lifting, furniture jobs, and generally all the things that require someone considerably taller than three feet.

Boss Lady, Colleen. Runs the website, social media, inventory, pricing, and approximately 900 other things. She rescued me. I repay her by creating problems.

Nana B. Family organizer, occasional supervisor, and professional keeper-of-everyone-else's-chaos. She is HR.

Gramma M. Tie maker extraordinaire and the reason I have an increasingly impressive wardrobe.

Why Am I Important?

Because I'm not just a mascot.

I'm part of the story.

My goal is to help my family keep growing Generations of Furniture and our family along with it.

I'm on our social media.

I'm on our website.

I'm in the shop.

I help turn furniture into stories, strangers into friends, and ordinary days into complete chaos.

And apparently, I've become a pretty big part of how our family business connects with people.

So yes.

I'm important.

Also, I'm adorable.

That's just science too.

Now if you'll excuse me, Boss Lady is looking for her laptop.

Stay Fluffy,

Barry B. Bannon™
Spokesbear & Senior Fluff Executive
Generations of Furniture

P.S. No matter how many stuffed friends Boss Lady brings home, I'm still the OG.

P.P.S. Yellow Peanut M&Ms are superior. Science has spoken.

P.P.P.S. If this page disappears, Boss Lady found it.

P.P.P.P.S. I have no regrets.
